More specifically it is an agile project management tool. So, to the matter at hand: Jira, besides being a bug tracking or track issue tool, is a project management tool. well, I'll get to that, but let's just remember, for now, that process is integral thanks to our old friends Deming, Juran and Crosby.
"So Matt, what does process have to do with JIRA?". So this drove my approach in re-entering Project Management. To never leave anything to potential guessing or doubt, in other words never assume or rely on tribal knowledge. The benefit of that world aka business process management is one gains a sense of needing to define everything and to promote clarity. I've been living in the world of process maps and continuous improvement for about two years to present. Now that I've returned to Project Management I figured my first article in a while should be.well about that.
